Due to desirable characteristics such as high hardness, wear resistance, chemical stability and high temperature strength, ceramics become selected as preferred material for many applications. So, this course will introduce but not limited to the processing, advanced ceramic materials, ceramic products, tools and the characterization. Other properties like mechanical and also the imperfection of ceramics will also be introduced.
